To remember the sacrifices of our freedom fighters who gave their lives for the country, the day was marked with a lot of patriotic fervour and ecstasy, in the school.
The event began with the parade of NCC cadets of the school and hoisting of the National Flag by the chief guest, Brother- M. R. Beddoe followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The atmosphere was filled with the spirit of nationalism as the tricolour fluttered proudly in the school premises. School Principal, Mr Barry Francis welcomed the august gathering and gave a thought provoking speech encouraging the students to contribute towards building a stronger and progressive nation. The celebration included a musical rendition, patriotic songs sung by the school's Hindustani and Western choir and speeches by students, showcasing India's rich heritage and unity in diversity.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by school Principal, Mr. John Xavier and the distribution of sweets to all present. The celebration not only instilled a sense of pride and respect for the nation but also inspired students to contribute positively to the country's progress.
