Subject: Old Student from Class of 1992

Dear Carver Sir,

My name is Raghav Atal and I was your student in St. Stephen's school from 1992 to 1996(class 4th to 7th).

Just wanted to share some thoughts with you- how immensely proud I feel of the days I spent under your guidance in St. Stephen's School and how thankful I am to my parents who took the decision to submit me in your patronage. Although my association with the school was only for four years, I believe those days had the greatest impact on me as a person. Those were the 4 most crucial years of my formative years and I am really grateful to you and all my teachers for making me what I am today. I have always admired your strength and courage in making the school what it is today.

Wherever I get a chance to come to Chandigarh, I always pass by the school and start thinking of old days and about you - how you used to work hard in making this school, literally helping in watering the garden and the bricks in the morning. No other image from those days, other than watching you walking down the aisles of the school comes so vividly to me. Looking at the school from outside now and at the pictures on the website, I really feel great to have been a part of it.

I have never got a chance to directly interact with you, so I am really excited to get the e-mail id of the school from the website. Therefore, please pardon any mistakes I made while writing this letter. I would like to grab this opportunity to say a big thank you and would really love to hear from you.
