Let's get quizzical!
This activity is not just a pass time, but a brain booster, too. It has checked and analyzed knowledge of many. Not only did we go for Inter-School Competitions, but throughout the year the activity period brought many laurels for the school in various competitions. Jashandeep and Tyas became the winners of Brain Booster Competition, we also won H.T Pace, Fanta Fiesta and Eco Inter-School Competitions. Jashandeep and Varunveer were declared first runners up in CSR Quiz 2010-11. Our students also participated and got position in Limca Quiz, Gurukul Quiz and Library Quiz in the year 2011-12.
School Quiz activity is open to all the students of varied classes. We train and prepare them in our activity classes on Saturdays. Different Quiz books in the library, general knowledge books, encyclopedias, newspaper and magazines are used to update their knowledge. The students are encouraged to read and prepare from all spheres of life. Four teachers are involved in this activity and they have divided the students into two groups. One group includes the students of class 6 and the other includes 8,9,10. The Quiz Club primarily has two major events in an academic year one is Inter House Quiz Competition and the other is ICSE Inter-School Quiz Competitions. The knowledge and aptitude of the students is hence tested and boosted in this activity.
